Race Changes.

We should have other ways of getting race changes other than ascending and Pay Packages.

If you want to modify the 'Ascended Path', that is another matter.

And once you are an Indu or an Ajna or a Tolah or an Ori the only way to get it changed is to ask Admin.

When you buy a name change, you also get one in ascended. Perhaps we can do the same with race changes that also allow you to change your ascended path and race in MAIN, so this is directed both ways.
1: Buy race changes with MT's perhaps?
2: Be able to change your path in ascended with said race changes.

Perhaps, but why would you want to get ascended race changes? Wouldn't one suffice, get your favourite path, and be done with it? Why would you need a load of Main race changes, for that matter, most actions are free anyway.

The means of acquisition may be sound, but what would be the point of getting that many race changes, I wonder.


Maybe add 1 Main race change to the "MT -> Identity Change" transaction, that could work..

(Ascended races are tied in to the starting levels, back when you ascend for the first time. (How) Would that affect Path changes?)

One case would be people that bought an account and would like another ascended path.
Another case would be simple change of mind. As the same question would be with why would you change your in-game or forum name... because you want to.

a bit OT but you can get a name change for ascended by buying a name change on the beta main server, has been a glitch for awhile so not sure if it still works.

They are talking about race changes not name changes... and you can get a name change in ascended when you trade for one with MTs in main.

Makes sense to me.

Maybe everyone could get a Free Ascended Race Change from Santa each year.

Or maybe they could use a market turn in main (to get one for their ascended account).

Just remember that this would include coding in both main and ascended. If you change your race from say Tolah to Ori your ascended title or rank in main would need to be changed too.

Simple updates may not be so simple.
