This "SG-1" not only slayed you multiple times. But also destroyed your realms as well and helped your Jaffa army destroy all that the goa'uld were.
The ORI could have protected you from these heathens, your rejection of the path caused your own undoing.

Faithful Damaris, if the Ori are so benevolent, why don't they come to our galaxy and enlighten us? That would be the ultimate proof that they are truly all powerful, and that they actually care about us, not just send some petty priors to convert a whole galaxy, and destroy the worlds that refused to believe. They should come and convince us themselves. It is certainly within their power, if they are Gods, is it not?

The Ori are All Knowing and do not require blind obedience.
But the question remains why do you not come to the Fires of Celestis?
Are you afraid that yo cannot bear the burden of your unbelief?
It is ok once you come to the City of the Gods because all will be revealed to those who have the open mind to accept it.

The city of which you speak is beyond my reach.
I don't have the time or resources to power up a gate in order to travel that far, and I'd also have to find out the address.
Being ascended doesn't imply knowing everything, as opposed to what mortals think.
The Ori however, have proven countless times that they know the location of this galaxy, and that they can send priors here. If they came and enlightened the rest of us, there would be no more killing. It is linear.

But yet your Gods know all they need to of you. You just admitted the Ori know more than you in certain areas Unbeliever! And can send Priors who send the word of origin to all areas, now seen by uncovering the veil of evil that the Altera have put on the Ori's creation.

I say this again, or for the first time if I forgot to mention it, ascension is not the end of the road, but the beginning. It does not grant infinite knowledge, only infinite storage. The Ori obviously know more than I do, since they have had more time to store information than I did.
Yes, they can send priors, but that's very much useless for an omnipotent conglomerate of "gods". They could convert the entire universe at the same time, being everywhere at the same time, speaking at the same time, and proving their godhood at the same time all throughout the boundries of reality, and maybe even beyond.
Why do they "choose" to send priors instead? Is it because they are NOT omnipotent?
Strengthening the doubt of the Ori's godhood, they seem unable to destroy the so-called evil that is supposedly corrupting the denizens of the galaxy.
Oh, the hunger for power. It could make one invent excuses for everything, however unlikely they are.
