why not giving them a little gift
alliances have gift of ppt (12 hrs), repairs , bank, and House bonus
Lones have 10% def/cov
maybe a little gift in ppt to match others

Since 'alliance gifts' are not gifts from the game administration, but gifts from the leadership to contributing alliance members, there would be no logical 'need' for an equivalent for lone wolves.
Where it concerns a House Bonus (which is in fact closer to an actual gift, given freely and without discrimination), there should be (and is) an equivalent bonus for lone wolves. The difference between stat bonuses and 'alliance gifts' is that stat bonuses are passive -actual- gifts, whereas 'alliance gifts' are purchased with the collective purchasing power of the contributing members.
E.g. (Example invalid in countries with Free Education.)
A school decides to hand out iPads to their -contribution paying- students.
Billy, not a student, purchases an iPad with his own money.
End situation: A student and Billy both have an iPad, with the difference being that Billy paid for the iPad directly, and the student did not. The student paid, but not specifically for the iPad.
Back to the game.
An alliance decides to hand out PPT to their -contribution paying- members.
Billy, a lone wolf, acquires PPT through the Market.
End situation: An alliance member and Billy both have a PPT, with the difference being that Billy paid for the PPT directly, and the alliance member did not. The alliance member paid contribution, but not specifically for the PPT.
I can see where you'd be going, Lith. You would recommend a lone wolf is able to use Naq to
purchase a short PPT? (12 hours)
Or did I misunderstand your idea?

yep his gift could be purchased thro his bank and might be a short version of the 12 hrs say 3x1 hrs
so he can have the said strategic advantage of those using temp ppt to rebuild and counter attack.
however with the new costs i think it cant be achieved due to new calcs

If Lone Wolves get double the bonuses everyone else gets, why should they get gifts too?

If they do, then indeed, no need for similar structures. But if being in an alliance means potentially saving trillions in repair costs for a few mirrors and marbles, a comparative analysis is required.
The distinction between stat bonuses and 'gifts' was made clear earlier.

lol, if Lone Wolves get the the option to receive an additional 12 hour PPT, then perhaps it should be rewarded to all players even those in an alliance (for those of you needing a through explanation that would be on top of the 'alliance gift')

Well, before I can discuss this in a sensible manner, I require to see your comparative analysis. You have made claims but have not put forward the costing or analysis to back them up.

to make it bit clear
this thread was setup b4 i could see the new calc for the ppt gift so it was based on the old calcs.
another thing is that i called for a low version PPT gift 1/3 of what alliances have, so they get 12 hrs a Lone wolf could get 3-4 hrs 3x1hr
this just to bare the online fights when a Lone vs Alliance member where the Allince member use a temp ppt to rebuild and counter attack making that fight a dirty one.
now with the actual cost (formula) of a temp PPT it might not be possible that a lone wolve could have that feature unless the formula is different from them.
all in all : mini ppt for Lones i suggested not 12 hrs

This makes sense now thanks Lithium.
I agree that every player is entitled the same amount of PPT a week.

personally i don't think they should
10% to covert thats 2% more than the house Osiris
10% to def thats the same as the house of Ra
and to give a lone wolf extra PPTs thats just plain unfair to those alliance not inside a house
why should a lone wolf get double benefits than an alliance and get gifts? and what will it accomplish by making a formula like alliances have all you'll see is LWs jumping into an alliance then jump out to keep the cost down

LW is a choice of play actually theres a quite big difference being in alliance and LW. alliances have members in cooperation , organized and they check logs while LW is just a LW on its own,
perhaps 3x1 hr ppt can help LW in fights and 1-2 repairs/day
