I have a question, why don't people anymore post updates/threads about their character or alliance histories?
I mean these two sections were quite filled from early 2005 to early 2009, but since, it's been less and less cared about. Even though those two were rather interesting sections to read.

I think to a certain extent people don't roleplay as much, nor do they try to create a persona around which they base their playing. The game has become more two dimensional in many ways

I could write an essay on this.. but..
tl;dr The current player base and many of the old guard have become complacent ignoramuses, as befitting (and simultaneously proven by) player proposed game changes and the reactions to admins attempts to increase depth.

(Summum of stupidity being the latest suggestion for 'customisable colours'.. I mean, seriously..)

Probably the reason, but still that I find the forums to be slightly less interesting to read due to the abandoning of said sections...

Kjarkur, there might be informations/links related directly/indirectly to TL history on this site, even though it was aborted too quickly and now is filled with bots spam. I believe Svarun created this forum and tried this project, but it didn't work.

Couzens can't even spell his own name correctly. I'm afraid you'd be doing all the work if that happened.......

Is indeed an interesting section to read, i still hitit up when i'm bored.

funny though 'cos last night when i was researching all the past wars throughout history some where really good and had loads of input so i was thinking about sgw should make one like have input from both sides what began, the lead up etc

but the same reasons come up and thats sort of along the lines people don't agree or try to re-write what actually happened

and as to character/history threads you'll always get "That" person who turns it into a mud slinging fest disagreeing with what ever happened like 3 years ago that had nothing to do with them and soon it turn into a show of Jeremy Kyle
