Cancellations

Too many of my shows are being cancelled.
Just announced are:
V
The Event
No Ordinary Family
And there's talk that the decision to renew Supernatural may be reversed due to recent poor ratings.
The only good bit of news I saw was that Chuck has been renewed. But that has been labelled as it's final season with 13 episodes.
I need new shows! Think I'll give Falling Skies a go when it comes on Sky!
No wonder ratings are low for so many good shows, makes you wonder what's the point in watching shows these days when there's a 90% chance they'll get axed!

I was reading spoiler tv and the list they have on their of all the TV shows that have been dumped....It was like reading a list of my shows i watch this year...goodbye Mr Sunshine..V...Detroit 1-8-7..The Event..Perfect couples...Traffic Light...The Chicago Code....Chase..No Ordinary Family...Outsourced and of course Stargate Universe
They are other shows i have watched this year that don't even last 3 weeks before they get replaces with a CSI repeat...Running Wilde got taken off the air and also moved networks to FX they are showing the rest of the season...If you liked that show you might like The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret...it has the same cast and if funny as hell..

Well there is currently a big movement to get V series 3 recommissioned. People are hoping another channel will pick it up.
I'd like to see V Season 3 and Flashforward season 2
I'm quite into Criminal Minds and NCIS atm, which is now surely their downfall
on the plus side Human Target season 2 airs next week on syfy
Also it's pleasing to know Game of Thrones season 2 has already been commissioned, and I'm hopeful for a season 2 of The Walking Dead

Im gutted with V being cancelled but hopefully someone else picks its up, same with the event. It seems everytime I get into a series it cancel's which really sucks ass !
V was a good take on the old series plus all the alien girls where hot, hopefully if we do get invaded they all look like that !

Meh. Even though I am no saint on the issue I think the TV companies are doing the right thing. People want to steal and illegally download which reduces their cash intake and viewing numbers (impatience is also key) then they're just gonna not let anyone have them at all. Children who play badly with toys have them taken away so the thieving bastards can just sit and twiddle their thumbs!
Shame to see V and SGU go, I hope Walking Dead will stay on. Supernatural wont go anywhere... it'l have a season 7 but that may be it's last indeed. The other shows I thought were crap so won't miss them!

for the majority of audiences with technological knowhow, waiting years for shows is too long...

lmao u speak as if you never download any song or any episode (hypocrite)
I still see music companies making music, they don't give up even though 90% of the people are downloading music anyways
The tv companies just need to find another way to make money (ie. provide ep on their websites for free and make cash on adds and whatnot).. and the best part is there is nothing they can do about it

Actually, idiot, the implication is clearly there.
On a different note... ima go blow something up now that Lie to Me has been cancelled. Sad day indeed... V, SGU and LTM.

yeah over the past few years quiet a few good shows have finished there V like clarkey said, smallville is on its final series as far as im aware, there was battlestar galactica, supernatural is a 50/50 at the moment due to low ratings in the last series

Supernatural was confirmed for a 7th season. No 50/50 to it... it's coming back.

There have been a drop in ratings since that decision and has been talk of a reversal on the decision. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.
