Ok iv recently ascended and everytime i want to attack someone it says they are too distant to engage.... why cant i attack anyone?

click on introspection, you see the physical expanse? thats your planet count, closely related to army size in main. You need to be within 5x or 1/5 of someones planet count (army size) for you to be able to attack them. So take for instance you have 10 mill planets, you can attack people up to 50 mill planets and attack down to as little as 2 mill planets. You are limited to this for every attack other than descension attacks.

ah so its planet count then! it really did confuse me because i was trying to attack similar ranks and couldnt lol.

This is why.
You probably have what, 100 million planets? You can only attack players up to 5 times your size, and above 1/5th your size. Or maybe it is 10 and 1/10th now.. SoL, did I hear something changed there? Or was that just descension hits?
Invest everything you have in CEF and Charisma for now, and be very patient. It will take some time before you can *really* start getting into it. If you want, I can give you a few pointers on playing styles on Ascended, but for now, you really need to wait. From 500m onward you can score 'good' hits (hit people up to 2.5B/5B planets), and they progressively get better as you grow bigger. Patience, and you will have the basic quality of a player of Ascended. *grin*

my physical expanse is only 30k at the min but im on around 92k per day.
I ascended thursday evening and havent really had time to look through it yet.

Well, since raiding on Ascended was nixed back in 2007 (too many negative side effects), you will only be farming. With 30k physical expanse, you can only hit people with 150k and lower. There are not that many who fit that bill.. as you will regain turns very quickly, you can hit anyone you like, and as long as you have under a million planets, you should be looking at hits for over 10 million. Last I checked, there were a bunch of accounts with very small planet counts who have that out.. the ones who have more out, are often above a few million already.


For comparison, my growth rate is 487,137,516 planet / day. SoL's is well, over double that? It takes a lot of time, but once you're into the hundred millions, you'll get better farms. Just keep it up, and remember to convert your APP to have some more LFC to spend on Charisma.

1.2 bill uncapped.

Its an interesting thing ascended, you will start out slow, then excel amazingly fast, then hit a brick wall as in, it will take time to get to your feet, but when you do you will grow fast, then it will get expensive quite fast.

4 bill + will be the start of your prime, that will leave you attacking up to 15 bill planet counts, 10-15 bill ish is the average.
