Would have prefered a sequel to 300 (Salamine battle maybe?) but this seems to be quite epic and awesome!

Interesting. By the trailer I just watched, I would suggest it will be as good if not a bit better than 300.
300 was good for a watch, and then another now and again but..I hope this will not be a let down. Looks hyped, hopefully not too hyper.

Looked like an even worse version of Clash of the Titans, and that was a pretty poor film

I watched 300 fair bit of times, mainly for the sepia graphics and especially for the fantasy-into-history stuff combined with epicness storyline. Love this.
In fact, the excessive violence factor was more of a restraining fact for me to watch it over and over than anything else. If it wasn't bloody like this, I'd have watched it twice more.

I tried to watch it once. but fell asleep. well, that was most likely because I was very tired. what I saw was ... okay but not too convincing.
not too sure about this "The Immortals" movie. most of the helmets look pretty absurd.

Concerning this "immortals" movie:
Fancy special effects. Weak, borrowed story. Absurd costumes. Nothing that looks new about it.

That was our impression from the trailer... It lacked things new.
Considering we've not seen the movie, we cant give anything else...
