If you are just below the plague army cap – say at 520million – can you buy UU from the ingame black market?

I was told that you can not buy above the trade cap, as that is a trade. Though I have never done so myself, so can't tell you 100%.

The total amount of dollars must add up to 10,20,30,40 or 50. Your total was $0.
For fraud protection we cannot accept over $50 in one transaction, and the increments of $10 are a limitation of our 3rd party credit card company.
We apologize if this makes things inconvienient.
If you tried to purchase over a game limit, the amount was likely set to zero - which may be a misleading error.

Basically you can't, sorry

I'd like an answer from one of the game so called 'money spenders' who can tell me what it does, not what it 'says'.

You cannot purchase UU from Black Market if you are over the trade cap.

You've tried it?

I'm not doubting but it USED to be able to be done. I'm not sure about plague cap though.

I don't know if you are near plague at all, but if you are then try it yourself. It does NOT let you.

Also i'd just like to point out that what x_N1GHTW1NG_x quoted was the message you get when you try and buy UU. It is not the message that is just on the page when you go to it, therefore x_N1GHTW1NG_x was providing you with the fact that it does not let you.

Night wing was saying what it says. But I guess things have been altered from the past when you COULD do it.

I'm reasonably close to raid limit.

No, you are not understanding what I am saying.

On the page it says this:
Buy From Black Market
This is the official black market. It is called such, since the trades involve an external to game resource ($$). The trades, here, though - are of course guananteed to be delivered.
The market is restocked from the regular market monthly, with limits per player on each resource.
This added feature is a further protection against 'scamming' on the unofficial black market, and once again it is stated that the game administration can and will do NOTHING against being scammed if you are trading outside the official markets.
You can buy any amount of one resource, or combination of resources, but the total amount of USD must be 10,20,30,40 or 50.
NOTE: prices rise and fall, as with any market.

When you go to purchase UU when you are over trade limit you get a message appear that says this:

The total amount of dollars must add up to 10,20,30,40 or 50. Your total was $0.
For fraud protection we cannot accept over $50 in one transaction, and the increments of $10 are a limitation of our 3rd party credit card company.

Therefore, as I just said, x_N1GHTW1NG_x was providing you with the fact that it does not let you buy UU.

No, it is you who are not understanding what I'm saying.

What it says and what it does are sometimes two different things. Despite efforts all bugs are not yet removed. And you certainly used to be able to buy over the caps but in the end I guess that's been altered. I'm not close enough to the plague cap to be able to tell that though.

I would have appreciated input from one of the more well known money spender names as well.

Input in to what? I have just told you you cannot do it.

Firstly, when that error message appears the purchase does NOT happen because it does NOT take you to the payment page. Therefore, what it says IS what it does.

Secondly, me telling you that it doesn't do it is from me trying it, therefore it is fact and not an assumption.

Mate listen to Clarkey.
If there's one person who knows this game it's him.
You can't buy UU off the ingame Market when you are over the cap.

actually you can get UU via Admin, not from the black market, but you can from USS, which I don't think should be allowed, it should change into ATs.

Also I can confirm you are not allowed to purchase UU when over the cap, I have tried :P

That's because you have to be a well known money spender to know anything around here. I mean what do i know, not as if i've been around here for nearly 6 years.

P.S. Lowra, I'm not trying to be rude with my replies, but when it comes to game mechanics I only ever talk about what i know as fact through my own experience, otherwise I usually leave it to others to help.
