A New Era dawns..

I, as God Emperor, of the Omegan Empire announce a new era in the history of the Omegan Empire. Restructure plans will come to fruition by the end of this weekend where the Empire will be reshaped into 3 alliances, the two elite alliances, Omega Allegiance and Delta Allegiance and our training alliance, the Alpha Allegiance. Sigma and Pi have served the needs of the Empire proudly but as the game changes, so do we adapt. This will allow the OE to focus it's might, while still allowing flexibility.
Omega and Delta will no longer be recruiting from outside Alpha, except in exceptional circumstances. This is to ensure that no member of these two alliances is a bystander in any war we pursue.
As of this moment, there are no plans to change any current relations with other alliances. We are an alliance of peace, as long as you don't **Filtered** with us.
Long live the Empire!

Sad to see Sigma and Pi disappear into the history books, yet another 2 proud alliance names gone. Guess it's just a sign of the times, consolidating alliance active members and getting better coverage of alliance functions.

One suggestion, Im sure Sigma and Pi have healthy alliance bank balances, rather than delete why not rename and sell or give away the alliance shells to newly forming alliances, give the little guys a head start.

Good idea. We surely haven't forgot about the banks. Too bad they've already been emptied. I feel that the idea should be considered by everyone that has a situation like this.

yes spent I think 48t naq on bank upgrades in Pi. Even though I will now be in Alpha, I will still proudly fly my Pi colors. Pi and Sigma will be missed many, but with new times comes new things.

Alpha and Omega....This should be the two elite
and delta the training allaince...

I seem to recall Alpha was originally the Omegan training alliance.
