Hey

Im a Scotttish student stidying Accountancy and Finance.
Just finished my first year, of a four year Masters Degree.

Anyone else involved in this? be it univeristy, college or full time work?
Or even wanting to do it for a future career?

I have a bachelor in accountancy and a bachelor in finance & insurance.

I'm almost working 5 years for ING (bank) now as advisor.

Very, its a varieting job. I do loans, mortgages, insurance & investments. Every hour is a new client with different probs & needs. Think I'll keep doing this for a few years to come. And it pays well...

Yes and there are bonusses too but...

Roeland owes me 100K for damages to my mothership but he won't pay me..

Im a Treasury officer dealing with cashflows, mortgages & investments and have virtually no qualifications, just my AATs lol Anyone can learn on the job and work their way up.

My favorite transaction ( not the most profitable but certainly most amusing ) was borrowing £3 mill off Barclays UK @ 0.8% and placing it in a fixed term investment with Barclays Singapore @ 2.3%. Free money, just wish the money was mine.

I take it that first loan was at a fixed rate too....otherwise that could have backfired badly. lol
