somehow I am now appearing online.. I have had my acc set to appear offline for several months.. and havent touched the setting.. board preferences still state set to hide :s

In total there are 19 users online :: 10 registered, 5 hidden and 4 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)
Most users ever online was 266 on Sun Sep 05, 2010 4:46 am

Your name appears to me in Italics, which means you have it set to appear offline. It will always appear as online to yourself though.

Not true. If you have yourself as hidden, you will not be able to see yourself in the list of who's online.

Looks like it was a temporary glitch. Nothing to worry about.

If you want to see if it's just a glitch with your own account, try logging out and looking at the users online in the past 15 minutes and see if you are there. If you are, then there is a problem with your setting.

ok was just getting a lil worried.. 2nd glinch with my forum acc in a week or so.. after years on no probs.. has seemed ok since I posted this thread

If you log in and do not check the 'log in as invisible" box, it will log you in visible and stay like that for a while. Likewise, if you log in as invisible and make it so you are always logged in but do not set the invisible mode in your UCP. It will log you in as invisible, but when it resets your log in you will become visible again.

I have my UCP set to make me "hidden".
Whenever I login I don't click the box but I am still hidden.

The only time I used to click the box was when i didn't set "hidden" in UCP.
