I recently rewatched this movie and I really have liked this movie over the years so I thought I'd ask other users opinion on it.

This is one of the many (lolwut) movies I have in my collection, and I enjoy it each time I watch it.

Anyone else hate or like this? I think Mezz might hate this..

One of the best movies i've seen. 10+ from me!

I've only watched it once, a few years back. However, i did love it when i watched it. I should really watch it again! :L

lol actually it's not bad, kinda thoughtful and well made for an action film

[spoiler]If Im thinking of the right film, it was a nice little twist on the father hiring the kidnappers, the bit where he blows a guy up by the side of motorway was great, and the fact the bodyguard couldnt stop the kidnap but was shot trying, and willingly sacrificed himself not in a instant blaze of glory but with other options and knowing he was swapping his life for the girls was very good.[/spoiler]

I believe it's based around a true story as well..

Actually its based on an older, Italian version, which is based on a novel.

Love Man on Fire - solid plot, great action scenes, an awesome original score. Love it

My one criticism when I rewatched it, was some of the scenes are perhaps trying to be overly artistic: some of the language subtitles coming up, the flashing scenes, etc - keep it perhaps a little simpler for my tastes....

This movie is in my collection forever. Just like The Rock, and The Rising Sun.

I can never, ever watch this.

I think it was a great movie. Definitely one of Denzel Wasington's best.
