Even with CR7 they couldn't win Premiere League anyway. They lack something. Teamwork. MC is a group of individuals who even sometimes fight each others. MC stockpiles forwards on their team thinking they will be teh **Filtered** with teh big namez. MC is not so very interesting to watch, they won a cup this year...that's about it (match wasn't bad though against Stoke). With all that cash they could have done better IF the current players worked as a real team.

Yeah i know, they just bought the wrong players, look at when Chelsea got all the money, they won the league that season! Just went to the wrong set of players, i think.

Midfield: Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Luka Modric (Tottenham), Wesley Sneijder (Inter), Juan Mata (Valencia), Jack Rodwell (Everton), Samir Nasri (Arsenal).

I hate that guy so much, but it's mostly jealousy. If I could take a free kick like him I'd have an ego the size of a planet as well. If only he could sort out that inner ear problem he'd probably have better balance

In 2008 he scored, what was it, 42 goals in a season for Man Utd?
2009–this season at Real Madrid he has scored 86 goals in 89 appearances, with 22 assists.

Can you put a price on that? Its all well and good Man Utd saying they can have Valencia and Nani for the same price as Ronaldo - but a) even together they're not as effective as him alone, and b) you can't play both of them at the same time.

To Man City he could well be worth the money, especially after Tevez's rant about rainy old Manc land. They could buy a load of £25million strikers (Balotelli, Dzeko, Adebayor, etc) who don't cut the mustard, or blow the whole lot on one player who has consistently scored 40+goals for the past three seasons (one of which was in the Prem) - only reason not to is if the numpty breaks his leg on his debut :P

He is an excellent player, and probably would help citeh towards trophies, but, as said, they need to work as a team. They buy the named players whereas all the other worldbeater teams buy players nobody has heard of or seen play in this league: Drogba, Hernandez, Torres. None of these players had premierleague experience when they came and had to work to make their name in most cases. The players city buy have already made it and have huge expectation in a league where everyone already knows their game.

Hope this makes some sense

I understood, it makes sense.

Well CR7 is a scoring monster, however MC doesn't play as a team, it's obvious with just decent results they provide. MU did quite a mistake when it sold CR7 imo.

It makes sense but I disagree with it :P

Torres was massive before he went to Liverpool. And Drogba got Marseilles to the Uefa Cup final before going to Chelsea.

Whereas ManC have bought the likes of Balotelli and Dzeko who are hardly proven, and have pretty much flopped ;)

yeah, but they were unknown in the premier league quite a lot. Not many in this league had played against them. an unknown element, the proved to be excellent.
Man city have aquired:
Tevez, proven as one of the best strikers by utd
Given, proven as one of the best keepers by scumcastle
Lescott, excellent defender, shown by everton.
Barry, Villa

I know they have bought some unknowns, but some of their key players were already proven, which is of course needed in this league given the uniqueness(sp) compared to other leagues, but still: no real match winners from outside this league...

Wasn't really their choice to sell him, any team that much in debt (I'm hearing numbers around the £700mil region) need to sell primary assets to help keep the wolves away, look what happened to Leeds and QPR. It nearly happened to Chelsea but they were saved by a Russian billionaire.

But did you see what the result was when MC tried to buy Messi 2 years ago? Barcelona said it was all good as long as they could pay his exit clause and transfer fee (£250mil before paying Messi a cent). City like splashing the cash but the top players know where they want to play and most of them are there already, they don't need stupid money to drag them away. The only player City could probably sign just with a huge bid would be Fernando Torres.

Ronaldo is a cocky little man who sucks. I hated all of man utd because they had him.. Really, he is the man that stopped England from progressing in 2006 deceitfully.. How can you guys like him?

I don't "like" him. However, I cannot deny he is one of he best footballers in the world, who has consistently performed for the last few seasons in two different leagues.

How can you say he "sucks"? ;)
