I've recently been thinking, the game is kinda meh, I love what I have but IDK maybe it is time to restart the game again and have fun and challenges again, have any of you done it? started over? is it as fun as I remember or is it till a dying game?

If admin resets main, he might aswell take the game offline, for 98% of the game will not be returning, he knows it, hence why its never been done.

And go through the misery and pain of building up an account this far again? No way

It is pretty easy.. but it can be quite fun.

I think RoKeT meant just restart playing yourself; like, give up that account, and start from scratch.

*lol* you just recently finished ascending. I'd bet you'd be so glad.

I personally wouldn't mind, join HAVEN and have fun with Bullseye, ascending etc.

But then I remember how much I hated ascending while doing it.

Dear god to spend a year of my life sitting around with low covert levels...waiting...waiting...besides it's cheaper to build up when you're an LG+1...farm a couple hundred tril and buy an unknown then deal with the long haul. It feels good to accomplish it on your own, but boy is it tiring.

It is tiring indeed.

The first six were painful enough... then when admin made it a few more to Ancient God I was like damn. But still - it's part of the game I guess. And we need challenges.

Right now I think this game is at a crossroad. Either adapt, and becomes fun again, or other updates occur and it dies. Will it be slow and painful or fast and outgoing? I don't know, to be honest if admin makes one more update that favors the 5 percent it'll be the one more for me.

I wouldn't want to start over and have to deal again with the whole ascending/building account stuff, but to each their own I guess.

It was fun when it cost you to get into GnR range. Still.. I'll be pretty happy when I hit Unknown soon.

Maybe if admin scrapped ascending or just made like 3 ascensions.. Then a start over plan would be nice in my opinion.

After owning my account for 6 years...... no I wouldn't consider restarting with a new account. Plus IDs are so much longer these days, cba to remember such a long number.

If you want a quick and easy game, try Quantum or Chaos..

Well, I actually liked the idea raised by some people (Juliette among them) that if you are descended, you lose one ascended level, and have to reascend. That would require people to care more about their ascended, and bring a challenge in the game, to avoid being descended as it would cost more than % for two weeks.
If people want challenges, such updates would create them. To prevent too much "safety" into ascending.

I never liked resets. That's why i tried Origins but its stale. Its why i'd be for a MAIN reset with 3 ascensions or less, with a more dynamic gameplay.

@Cole: I would certainly quit then. And i think more/most people would.
