Drop Own CO

Okay so recently I just added an Enemy as a CO and made me realize something, I can't just drop him... it shouldn't be hard tweak and something that is essential as he then dropped me like 20hours later and now I have to wait 2 days just to return to my real CO also that was 20 hours where he could see my stats, see what i am doing and I could not mass or steal a planet... that just makes no sense lol so I propose we have a button to drop your CO so you don't have to go through the hassle

Why would you make him your own CO to begin with?

The wonders of alcohol & weed I believe :smt025

I think the reasons for the 24 hour delay are still valid and should not be changed, but it would be good if setting 'war' with your CO stopped them seeing your Command Center or attack logs for accidents like this and incase you set a CO mins/hours before a war starts etc. Although with the rarity of these cases admin should have many higher priorities.

Sorry Roket I see your frustration but the 24 hours are almost up

The reason why he did it is not the point of this thread and has no relevance to the request for a drop CO option. Please keep it on topic of whether an option should be needed or not.

Maybe add a check button, or an auto reject if you are at war with them (which I think is already there).

A button to drop Co doesnt sound that weird tbh ... even if its within the 24 hours ... you should just not be able to select a new one within 24 hours.

One could accidently click the wrong button.

I'm with Roket, Tekki and Nostra on this. ;)

Two other items:

First, when you do drop your own CO,
you have to become your own, self commander,
before you can have no commander... (difference in income vs. UP bonuses)

Income Per Turn: "Natural Income" is Untrained Units x 20 plus Miners/Lifer x 80 per turn x race bonus (25% for Goa'uld).
Bonuses:
10% more for having no commander.
10-30% of commanders income, based on their officer income rate, divided by the number of officers they have.

Untrained Units Per Turn:Your 'natural' per turn units, are your daily unit production, divided by turns per day. You get a 20% bonus if you are your own commander, 10% bonus if you have no commander, and if you have officers, each officer gives you one half of your officer income rate percent of their unit production (ontop of their full production going to them).

not all of this up to date, but its close enough for this thread, I think.

Second, and I don't know if the following scenario is caused by a bug,
but it's definitely related:

If you were Tekki's officer, and you wanted to love Nostra for a bit,

and you were nice enough to let Tekki know first...

and she thought she was doing you a favor by dropping you...

nope... you get a loyalty warning for trying to be Nostra's officer five minutes later...
](*,)

I know, cuz I tried it with a couple of my alliance mates, and found out the hard way...

We talked about this at admin meet, jason thought it was funny a little because nobody forces you to make your commander selection.

I believe he stated that it will remain as it is and not be changed.
