Wow so now its three accounts massed you, do you have any idea how IPs work in this context we are referring to external IP addresses your router has an IP so any one using your connection will have the same IP regardless of the computer, we did it from two different computers and networks. Yes me and my bro massed you, I'm am curious as to what account this mythical third one is called. (Please can I have an ID.) Only me and my bother massed you, that's it just the two of us.

Mate you cant even get a single of your facts right, not even how many people massed you. Why bother with these accusation based upon your miss interetaions of data. As i said give me some evidence thats NOT based on the childish IP argument.

Multie = 1 player with 2 accounts whereby that player is benefiting from the second account.

Is one account feeding the other one? Nope
Is the one the others officer thereby gaining UP boost? Nope

Imho, no evidence of any advantage or benefits gained.

With regards to techs...how they choose to play the game is their business. You sabbed them because you felt like it, they responded in kind. The fact that one logged on with a different IP to be able to participate in a joined massing/sabbing is just that, solving the IP limitation. Be it 2 people living under 1 roof or 2 people in separate houses...its still 2 people...thereby backing up the fact that its not 1 player with 2 accounts.

Here's a thought. Why should 2 people playing from the same IP be penalized because of the IP restriction if both players are attacked by the same player? Just because they live in one house? If it had been Marla and I then I would have made a similar plan. Fortunately she's in Auz now but even if we choose to do it now, would we be considered a multi because she had the same IP as me in the beginning of this era when she was still in SA?

Proxy is illegal. But 2 players can play and attack same people from same ip as long as they let admin know and get ip exception.


Anyhow goodluck. Been going on to long one way or the other. Just go to meeting and admin make decision. He say yeah or no and then that's it

I think you are mistaken about that one Robert. Marla played for rank (go look at the stats then) and would not have fed me. Also, everyone in Neu knew what I thought of people getting fed. The only time I have ever been involved in feeding was here where I fed other Neu players: https://talk.gatewa.rs/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=167379&p=2106888#p2106888 ~ that was the era of "If you cannot beat them, join them". If I am wrong, apologies...i'll accept screenies as proof.

The only way i know to change IP is if you are logging on to your account using someone else's internet which is obviously a different place. Envy did mention to me some time ago re this proxy thing and how in the 'old days' quite a few of the players used it for feeding.

From my understanding doing this proxy thing you could have different IP's but at the same location? Which was 'supposedly' banned because of the feeding going on. Seeing as feeding is not allowed anymore i do not see any benefits for anyone running/creating a proxy at home except farming/attacking the same players so I really find this proxy argument null and void.

The original post was about QwErTy and Dukem being a multi. As those 2 farmed at the same time on the same IP surely proves that they are indeed 2 people and not a multi account. Also, seeing as neither one are gaining any advantage from each other i find this matter to be quite pointless.

Unless Admin changes his stand on the 'no more feeding policy' i see no reason why running a proxy or not should be a problem. I would much rather prefer to get an IP exception as I am not technically inclined with regards to setting up a proxy. I have raised this IP exception here https://talk.gatewa.rs/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=150217&p=1865508#p1865508 almost 2 years ago but got no joy. Maybe now Admin can have a look at this.

you know i have tried a lot to control cheating as far as quantum goes... at one time i was a cheater myself. thats how i know the limitations and such of doing it. there are different opinions on it, but at the time i was cheating it was essential to compete as many were doing it. if everyone cleans up then it wont be necessary. the most common proxy would show no IP address when you attack with it and the others can actually assign an IP address to that account. but in the rules it states that neither is legal.

as for the 2 accounts in question ... they may be 2 people... i dont care either way but i do think they need to speak to admin about IP exception and have him look into accounts. then once admin makes decision on it then that will be that. goodluck on wave everyone. happy hunting

I think we have a language barrier here. I will never accept multi's in GateWars/Quantum/Origins. I said I do not agree with you that Qwerty and Dukem are in fact 1 person and therefor a multi. Maybe your and my definition of a multi differs?

Anyways, lets move on. Waste of time to discuss it further. Let Admin rather do his thing.
