ip exceptions

was just woundering before i waste my time sending an email will/can allow and i.p exception for about 8 to ten days. i am going on vac to see my father and brother who both play and dont want to have to vac mode

He never replied to the emails Jim sent about getting an exception for us, although that could just be 'cos he doesn't like Jim...

Highly unlikely such an exception would be granted, since admin doesn't care for names or familiarity. IP exceptions are usually permanent deals, and this seems like a situation where you can simply vac or use alternative means to access without causing an IP violation.
If I may make a suggestion? Leave your PC on, install Teamviewer on your smartphone/iphone/ipad/your brother/fathers PC
and your home PC, and simply use your home PC from wherever you are.
Easy breezy.
