Not saying deleting every inactive account.

But the ones 5 years old unascended with 3 UP and 80k army I think should be deleted or placed on vac mode until they log in again.

So requirements to delete, 1 year inactivity, unascended, less than 500k army?

Doing this could clean upserver and help identify multies because honestly who farms past page 1,000 and the next 1,600 pages after that?

Or could just send them to perg...

This will also aid something brought up in another topic, the rank needed to get into GNR.

Seeing as the rank needed is a percentage of the players.

Actually what got me thinking about it.

I think a lot of those old acc were already deleted in a clean up before

I don't mind untouched acc's being placed on a auto vac mode after a set amount of time ...and say ones with under 1mill can be auto deleted

but if you want new players having the chance to catch up to Unknowns you need g&r to be relatively easy for them...

Just delete the accounts.

The names will become available to new players / name changes too.

I agree. Also, no SS/USS bought.

who have no commanders...

especially huge money making commanders...

tis my specialty in farming...
no one ever thinks the 50k army player could ever make 25 bil per turn...

oh, his CO has 510 mil army?...

but these are tiny little noobs being discussed...

IMO all accounts not logged into after 3 months should auto-vacation, and after 1 year on vacation should be deleted regardless of size, age or having bought SS at some point in the past.

This will drastically reduce the raider/traders and raider/multi/feeder accounts since raiding will actually require effort instead of just making a inactive war list to hit 5mins daily.

I played a game where it straight said if you don't log in in a year it's gone sorry but a year is a long damn time, we have Vaca for a reason why have all this lag? it would slow that down again J did it once I don't see a problem with it tbh we have so many garbage accounts that should be deleted lol

what about farms? we would have to look elsewhere for naq, and elsewhere is in the big alliances/empires and we all know what thats gonna mean..not that I mind at all, but still.

That's too drastic, also it's unfair for accounts with SS (we never know why player is away for such a while, quite the bad thing to come back to see your account was deleted). Not to mention that naq not farmable there would be farmed in the active, regardless of their size/activity/...
