If you're hitting someone for 40 bil naq, you obviously want the 40 bil naq, not 30 bil or 25 bil. Why would I only go for that much and leave the rest? When attacking it should take all the naq in fairness.
The same applies for raiding, when instead of getting 45k uu per turn you could only get 25k per turn.

erm No, you have the option, take a little and not leave your account at risk, take th lot and allow the enemy to have an easier mass on you......it's a risk/reward ratio

Then you would be making the Nox/Critical stuff obsolete.

It's not a waste of time, you are just too lazy to click the war button.

The impliamentation of this feature was to stop people from exploiting the 12 ATs to take it all. Jason's reasoning was that if you do this, people will have the chance to mass you back for the action.

So if you want to take all their money, you risk the chance of being massed but you gain the ability to steal their naquadah with 12 ATs.
