Does everyone have to leave? I don't know if it's my age, or my personality or what... but man I feel like life is turning into one long goodbye and i'm so sick of saying goodbye to everyone that I care about...
I dont' mean a girlfriend, or even death, I just mean life... does everyone really leave... I mean think about it... no matter what you lose everything at the end, **Filtered** maybe I should just become a hermit i'm so sick of getting hurt...

Are you talking about people leaving the game?

Think about it this way. Everyone loses everything in the end.
Life in itself has no purpose, and since nothing matters, you can do whatever the hell you want.
So enjoy the time you have, and learn a little detachment for those situations where you would get hurt.

It's called emotion RoKeT, and sadly you have too much of it.
Sometimes you've got to expect these things to happen, then if they do happen it doesn't hurt as much.

People have gone from my life before, yeah sometimes it hurts to begin with but i adapt to life. You just have to focus on your life.

my life? I'm confused... my life involves everyone... I brought this question up becaue AGAIN one of my best friends is leaving me, and I don't mind, I don't blame them... they should it's a better life they are going to, but god damnit man again... again... it's like god damn bro... god damn... IDK man I just feel like it hurts so much, like not even just my friend, my grandpa just died, my neighbor did... it's like all life is, is goodbyes, there is no "happy ending" there is no being together forever, because in the end no matter what, you die... or they do... and again... you say goodbye, forever to someone you should never have to say goodbye too...

Of course there's no happy ending to life when life is not forever. But what are you wanting from this thread?

Usually the coping techniques comes with experience. But then i've never been over emotional about people leaving, not that many have.

don't stop let it out... everyone's life journey is different, how they handle things is different yet we are all told everyone must act a certain way.

When I read that title, I thought it was about a birthday..
Well, I don't really know what to say, maybe try to take things from a different perspective, I know it's not always easy to do. But that's what I am doing, and that's better so than when I cared more, I guess. But I know my situation is different, so I cannot really compare...
You have a daughter to take care of, that's already something that should give you motivation to do your best to raise her etc...I don't know if you saw that movie with Will Smith, "The Pursuit of Happyness", it's a lesson of life, that shows you that there's always a way to get your way out when you think you're in troubles. Sure it's a movie, but it's based on a true story...

Excellent reference, Jim.

When you truly love something or someone, with all your heart, you don't care if they leave you or stay with you. All you want is that said person is good, is happy, is surrounded by grace. If you don't love like that yet then strive to become as such that you can. You deal with the pain in time, with experience and having a goal that's a lot bigger than any pain that will ever come to you.
