we have seen many times mods that warns users via their posts, verbally and etc but not having the thread closed just coz some want to spam it , that way all threads would have been locked.

so this says all , Admin stepped to lock a thread in the general section.

can this amdin say why? and why admins dont let mods do their job?

I will ask again though, is there any real reason to keep it open? I only foresee spam and flaming.

Spam and flaming should be removed.

I would say that the thread should be closed when it has served it's purpose..... but it has no purpose.

and yes it has a good lvl of spam and insults, but the nature of the thread calls for it.

because in past, DDE members have always posted their propaganda or whatever they think it fits to let the community know, including even their empire awards and etc then why not to inform their leader along with two other left the main alliance.

details were being discussed in that thread while some were just flaming at each-other.

TDD is the flagship alliance of DDE which has been abandoned by their leader and tow other members who happens to ahve the 2nd and 3rd most heavy accounts in the empire.what u dont understand there ?

i started the thread with the fact that it was abandoned and there is a high interest as too many had their opinion text-ed as why it happened except the ones who left.

It's as interesting as the average rumour thread, but more fun due to the quick and sometimes funny reactions.

its a topic involving an ingame event, which involved the movement of a prominent Alliances leader figure.. ofc many may wish to discuss it. (is not General for discussing GW events?) ... kinda akin to the American President moving to Canada or the Englsih Queen to Scotland.

2nd if an Admin wanted to close it why not close it themselves? They have the power to do so

You said the purpose of the thread is this "the thread purpose is to let the community know why the Flagship Alliance of one of the most important Empires has been abandoned."

You do NOT know why JT and 2 others moved, and therefore the purpose of the thread is not to let people know why.

The purpose of the thread is to create propaganda and speculation.

If the purpose was to let the community know why then you would have told them why in the thread.

well aslong as they like to bug me and they know i never cared for more then 5 years they can at least answer the question i made ont he first post , why an admin want to lock this and why they ordered a mod to lock it.

all threads applies to forum rules and no admins arent to overcome rules.

great forum mod minds can at least discuss why such order was given.
