Anybody else miss hockey? I'm an Oilers fan but my gf is a Leafs fan and so is her family.. Makes visits all the more interesting lol.

Take a good hard look at the young talent they have in their lines.. after a good few years of experience they will climb to the top. But for now, I will agree they stink.. after 2 years in a row of dead last.

From what I can tell from their trades, Ryan Smyth will help with that. I was excited to see him come back. They made some trades with our defense (which I believe was horrible last year) and added Andy Sutton, hopefully he can be a good motivation. And IMO they need to kick out Habby.
What's your team? I'd like to rip on them

I live 3 hours from both Toronto and Detriot, right on the St Clair river. I go to either arena when Oilers come down. I personally don't like Detriot but that's because I know a lot of wing fans and its fun to have a rivalry. Same thing with leafs..

Yeah, I wished they kept dustin penner... omg would he ever be perfect for hallsy and eberle.. how many 6'4 250lbs players are skilled enough to be on your first line and protect your star players -.- He also had experience.. right now our team age average is probably 23 lmao i wouldn't be surprised if we had the youngest team.. I'm not sure if leafs would be younger though

Go Oilers.
But I'm glad they got rid of penner. Although he can be a good player, he never really tried hard. he was lazy, some games he would do great, others he just looked like he didn't really care.
Getting smyth back was a great boost. Sure hes not an amazing player, but at least he tries his hardest every game, and will do anything for his team.
