Aliance War Reailty Lockout

So here's just a thought that came to me.. Ill makr it clear.

2 Alliances agree to fight.
They declare this in-game with eachother. 24h later they enter
Reality Lockout.
[*]This means that for whatever amount of time, until one side clicks surrender, both alliances can only interact with eachother and are locked out of the rest of the game.
[*]No farming.. no raiding not even resource transfer with anyone else.
[*]Only way to finish it early is to surrender.
I think it would make more people surrender which is great... there are a lot of stubborn leaders that make the game very boring.
And let me be clear the only way out early would be to surrender.. Going to war would be fearful once again.
Problems: Someone might abuse it so to remain untouchable to everyone else - so a solution about this needs to be thought out.
There are simple rules that would need to be implimented with this.. such as:
[*]At least 5 v 5.
[*]Minimum of 2 weeks between wars.
[*]Loser recieves various penalties which could include unit production, turn income or stat loss for a set amount of time.. likely also 2 weeks worth.
[*]An embarrassing title

[*]Some kind of penalty that wouldn't benefit either side while in the war but would be inconvinient to anyone looking to abuse it.

Awesome idea!! I want this implemented! I do want to be a sniper and untouchable, bring more ideas like these cos I like'em!!!

Thankyou for that minimal contribution. It's always nice to see how certain intelectuals come to the table with thoughts and opinions that no one else could have possibly imagined.

Oh..
This is a game suggestions section.. so try suggesting instead of saying things just won't work.
I'll add some creative thought.. the losers lose 1/2 their income and UP for 2 weeks. They also cannot enter another "war" for a month. Something along those lines.. it isn't hard to make it bad news for anything just trying to hide. Penalties can be made to % boosts too.

While i agree that the comment was not the most helpful, insults help nobody.
Negative comments will be allways there.
So please just offer your own suggestions to the ideas here and keep insults somewhere else.
Couldnot it be workable if you combined it with some more severe restrictions like, reduced up, income, no ascensions ppts, for the time?

Yes the general track I was on was that penalties like that would be introduced for the losing side.
Maybe even a slight change to accounts that are in the war...
..something that will make it more intersting while proving less beneficial to players hiding in it.

Also, one thing that is forgotten... how do you cope with the jump-offs/ins i.e. the players who quit, raid/farm/trade then rejoin?

Well one always has to surrender.. but you could simply put a 2 week time limit between wars. Another standard requirement could be at least 3 players in 2 different alliances to initiate this kind of war. So 3 are always going to come off a lot worse.

vacation mode is only exception, cuz u not really leaving alliance,
just game...

I don't see a problem with people going on vacation mode while in the war. You cannot leave the alliance until the war is over however.. definitely not.

Simple solution to the leaving/rejoining thing...
Only those who have the house bonus (5 days in alliance) may enter the war realm... If they leave the alliance during the war, they simply may not rejoin until the war is over.
Some tweaking would need to be done, or people would do as Jason said, and just sit with huge incomes and UP's and just sit for the duration of the war..
I would suggest to counter this a maximum time for a war (maybe 1 month) and either.. severly reduced income/up (10% of initial values) or simply no income/UP at all. This would stifle rebuilding, but would cause people to be more strategic with their resources. Beyond this, it would require people to prepare in advance.
Another idea to make this war concept have more merit, would be to have it auto initiated by x amount of attacks between two alliances. Perhaps 1000 attacks between the two alliances, with at least 25% coming from each side. To prevent alliances from bullying others into the war realm. If there's no auto initiation, who would choose to have a war when they won't be able to farm/raid. It'd make people think alot more before starting a war... and make war actually mean something.

to stop them from getting lots of income and building up their UP freely for the two weeks, maybe seeing as they are in a realm of war, if they go so long without attacking they get fined??

hmm i like the idea but it would come with a few problems for example most wars after 2 weeks plus become sniper wars and neither side will surrender they just wont and without being able to farm and raid it will just end up killing all the players. Make this so that the war only lasts 1 week, the alliance that does the most damage ie units killed to death raito wins? not most power becuase they can just keep there units untill the week has finished and then train up.. and they get 50 1 hour ppts

I think they will surrender.. otherwise they pay the consequences which is having absolutely nothing left on their accounts plus gaining nothing (: if one side is left with defense and the other isn't.. then they cant do anything about it except get farmed or surrender.
No personal PPTs while in war but still Alliance PPT and Repair (:
It has to be a challenge for complete destruction.. otherwise people just won't use it.. so I'm not sure about a time limit. IF there is a time limit everyone will just wait for it no matter what.. the idea of this is to force a victor and a loser. Otherwise it's just what we already have but recognised in-game.
It would be good for your war atm

to mix that war with this update.. legion has several large defences so unless the opposition has enough resources on it to take those down.. they can't actually make any moves on those defences. They'll just get farmed themselves. In my mind that's what it should be like in warfare.. not just stalling for a month until they've saved enough to make a move.
That's my vision of it anyway
