So currently my G&R is sitting at 1245 but it does not give me the ascension button.

Is there something im missing?

dont know... im not even being given the button that usually pops up just under the Glory and Rep rating in Command Center

You seem to have been descended, I don't really know if it does something to ability to ascend again.

as far as i was aware...you could ascend if you were deascended but you would only get the ascended status back you wouldnt increase in the ascended path ...

Wrong, you'd also increase in the ascended path ;p
for example: descended ag -> ascends -> EAG, but still descended and wouldn't have the descended title on main.

gotta wait 2 weeks after being decended and or after each ascension mate

As the people have said, there are a few reasons:
*De-ascended (wait to become ascended again
*Within the 2 week period
*Daemon (pretty sure you need to be a basic race to ascend again)
