Die Hard or The Lost Boys ???

K so most night's when your stuck home there's nothing on TV, then when good shows or movies do come around they always clash.
Tonight's delima, I settle down with my dinner ( turkey, rosties, yorkshire pud, veg & gravy.... very nice ), turn on the TV and face this choice
The Lost Boys ( TCM 9pm )
Die Hard ( C4 9pm )
Damn thats a tough call, which would you go for ????

You know I totally forgot that the Grampa killed the last one, and we were left suspecting he was a vamp ( dead animals and special bottles of drink in the fridge )...........
.......and the soundtrack, of course I hadnt forgotten the 'People Are Strange' theme music, but that 'Cry Little Sister' haunting vocals, damn I forgot how great that was.
If anyone here hasnt seen this movie, drop what you're doing and download it NOW, hell even if you have seen it but it was 25 years ago like me, watch it again lol

I dislike vampire movies and I've seen too many times Die Hard, so I'd have watched another episode of Quantum Leap instead.

I dislike vampire movies and I've seen too many times Die Hard, so I'd have watched another episode of Quantum Leap instead.
Quantum Leap ??? Really ? You like seeing Bacula in a dress every other episode complaining about heels & such lol
The Lost Boys isnt just another Vamp movie, it's THE vampire movie. You have to put it in context of when it was made ( 1987 ), before this all vamps were dark dull solitary creatures like Dracula, this is pre-buffy and the first time being a vamp looked cool. Throw in the 80s style of teen drama/comedy, and the great soundtrack you got a winner.
Also this is this movie that made Kiefer Sutherland, without The Lost Boys, there would have been no Young Guns or 24

Die Hard every time. Lost boys was good, but die hard is by far a better movie.
