I reciently came up with the idea of starting my own alliance. Yes i'm pretty much a nub, been playing for like 2 years and still dont know what i'm doing. but that's not the point.

So many people are quitting or not careing about the game anymore. It's a GAME, not a way to establish your dominance in the world. I'd like to start up a carefree alliance, one where players actually try to enjoy the game, not feel like its a 9 to 5 job.

some concepts i wanna base it on:

x) it's a free text based mmorpg. I repeat: A FREE TEXT BASED MMORPG. 'nuff said
x) Vendettas: just a way to show off to everyone how tough you can sound in a thread. why bother?
x) Everyone is equal. Regardless of experience. we're all people behind a computer (or phone).
x) No bullying. just because you can, doesn't mean you always should
x) Spam. again, 'nuff said

I just want to make an alliance that's fun for people. Of course I dont really have any memebers yet. any advice to help me do this would be nice. please keep negativity to a minimum.

for what kind of advice u looking for?

Easiest way to keep an alliance peaceful and on focus is not to have any members. (Sound strange? Think about it. Makes sense.)

Since you'll probably want members at some point though, here are a few things to realise.

- Everyone has a different playing style, if you're going to keep your alliance about the fun, make sure that your members do not 'secretly' have issues with each other (or each others playing styles).
- Kick out everyone who sabotages the atmosphere within your alliance. Anyone who puts their own fun above the fun of the alliance shouldn't be in your alliance. Unless that is what you agreed upon, see my earlier point, keep everything in the open, no secrets, and you could pull it off
- "OMG I wanna grow". People will expect you, as the founder, to be one of the most active players in the alliance, all-knowing, and omnipresent. Make it clear from the beginning that that is not your style. If people want to spend 20 hours a day on the game, cool! Just make sure they don't expect the same from you.

Just a few things to notice.

Do you propose some sort of alternative to the purpose that Vendetta's serve?

as for juliette, I get lazy from time to time, everyone will know of this XD
I had a CO that would attack 2 people a day ish, and I thought no less of him.

maybe it's just me, but I think vendetta's are just a way to glorify a one on one challenge that's often times over something very stupid. like, not only is there going to be a fight at 3 o'clock at the flagpole after school, there's also going to be a banner with shiny glitter.
