This is a simple one, not sure if it has been suggested before, but I think you should be able to end brokers you have set if you don't want them to happen...

I think this should be in the game.

suppose it is to stop you stashing your resources on the broker and then getting it back when you want it.

But even saying that, it is still a good idea to be able to cancel a broker and get your stuff back.

you can do that with a friend anyway, you just broker them, and when you want your resources back you ask him to reject and you reclaim.

I think it may be a way to stop scamming, though I suppose it doesnt really work as intended given that no matter the circumstance, one person could still scam the other.

Example #1:

Maybe I decide to vendetta Andy, Rocky, and Soundmanc... :smt047

for obvious reasons... :D

Now, many of you know that reloading a confirmed broker page can give you as many as 12 brokers...

but it will be the exact same broker with the exact same person, for the exact same trade...

call it a bug with the game, the interwebz, whatever...

so I open 3 tabs for brokers... one for Andy, one for Rocky, and one for Soundmanc...

I offer 5,000,000,000, (billion, not trillion) NAQ to Andy for 5k AT, cuz he's stockpiling AT...

I offer Rocky 750,000,000 NAQ for 1 mil uu...

I offer Soundmanc something else... :smt025

I reload the pages 4 times...

I might even send them a fake apology note...

The goal is they accidentally click accept to my scam trades...

it matters little whether they figure out the ruse in 30 seconds or 5 minutes...

it won't take long...

This is all very possible right now... but then I find out that Andy's roommate is named Clarkey, and Soundmanc lives up the street from... Admin Sue... #-o

oops... so I cancel 8 brokers...

Rocky is smart, but tired, and sleeps for another 8 hours... and never knows of it,
because I decided not to wait for Rocky, and I cancel the brokers with him,

accept a bunch of goods from my allies,

and proceed to mass Rocky, Andy, and Soundmanc...

after which I set 12 new brokers, offering 100 units for 1 naq as a olive branch...

meanwhile, their allies are wondering why they can't send anything...

If I had not been able to recall my brokers, any of those three could have prevented my allies from offering me brokers, by refusing to reject my scam brokers... :P

scam brokers, which, by the way, triple my ability to scam people at the same time...

Example #2:

If I set a broker with CJL trading my units for his naq,

and I then decide that I don't want to make that trade...

what if there was $$ involved?

maybe CJL has already paid me $20 for my units.

maybe the broker was for 1 naq for 80 mil units.

oops. :smt076

Example #3:

A 3-way trade, no cash involved... but Dalek's brother needs to get the phone in the other room... brb he says... Rocky is the bad egg this time, recalls his part of the trade... scams Dalek out of the 30 mil uu that was just on Dalek's screen... and to add insult to injury, Dalek gets banned for 30 mil negative units upon his return 3 minutes later...

Example #4:
Rocky is gonna mass Soundmanc unless Soundmanc pays Rocky's new pal Andy 10 mil units,
cuz that's what Soundmanc had massed off of Andy yesterday...

Andy is in bed, so Rocky accepts a screen shot from Soundmanc, who recalls the broker 2 hours later after Rocky and Andy are in bed, and Soundmanc is on PPT...

Did I mention that Rocky sold half his strike because he was able to verify Soundmanc's army is now 10 mil short...

There's another very obvious reason...buying resources for cash...while the admin doesn't take responsibility it gets just too easy to scam people out of $$

I think Dubby summed up the dis-advantages nicely.

Whilst I know the pain of waiting 48 hours for it to expire, I think it's worth it to reduce scamming
