15 minutes seems more fair... this is the first wave I've played though so what do I know.

I know right now I am bias as I have the attack stone and I can farm anyone... but really 15 mins? Is it really that hard to farm without being sniped?
Option A: don't leave out more than 2 attacks worth of naq (bank a lot)
Option B: Have a bigger defense than the biggest strike.
Making the delay even more just takes away some spice from the game if you ask me!

The banks are really small (at least mine is) so if you're trying to get a Covert Level or something your big isn't big enough to store it all so you have to farm it all quick and buy it.
I don't know what the pros of Galactic Attack Logs are but they don't seem like a good idea to me at all, but like I said I dunno the pros. 15 minutes seems pretty fair, unless all people wanna use the logs for is sniping people.

In other words, use the strategies we (Quantums) have been using since the introduction of the log.
EMP, if you can't store it, you can't afford it. Either find alternate means of banking, or get quicker. Quantum is a pretty fast paced game.

I want to go back to 0mins delay really lol.
If you dont want to be attacked, go play Chaos gatewars or Origins...
Its a WAR strategy game, think of strategy or war shall be done upon thee.
Get UP up, train miners, use weekly bonus on bank upgrades, bank after every attack, spend money on weapons wich can be sold when u need the money, its not really all that hard now is it.

So you just like the Galactic Attack Logs because you get to snipe people? That's stupid. I've only been sniped once, and I don't really care, so I'm not just complaining because I suck, I just think they're a stupid idea.
The only good they're for is to see if someone is farming, and snipe their naq. Okay, that's fair how?

Of course it's a strategy to use the GAL to snipe people, and I'm sure it's effective. Is it fair though? Not really. Why should everyone else be able to see your Logs after 3 minutes, or at all? I'd just like to know WHY they were put in the game in the first place. If it's NOT so it was easier to snipe people online, then their should probably be a longer delay.

Galactic logs can be used for MANY other reasons other than sniping. I do use it for sniping (haven't gotten around to it yet) and have had it used against me. I have also used it to see who is getting massed, and see if I need to act. I once saw someone massing a few alliance friends of mine and I started sabbing the person until he stopped. VERY USEFUL that day.
It also acts as a way for people to police other users to make sure there aren't any cheats (by looking at changing IPs during the same run)
You can also use it to see what people are currently farming for. Kinda like the stock market. So you know that you are farming for the best amounts possible instead of the ones you see on the first attack page.
Its also a good source for creating new farm lists.
Are these enough ALTERNATIVE uses of the Galactic Logs for you?
And the question if its fair or not? Well, its not cheating, just a strategy. If you meant 'that' kind of fair. Whether or not it sucks is up to how you use it... or not use it.

Yes those are enough uses for it. I forgot their aren't Alliance Attack Logs in Quantum, so it's probably useful for seeing it Alliance mates are being massed. You could still use it for everything else if the time delay was increased, which would stop sniping. Adding Alliance Attack Logs and increasing the delay would be best, in my opinion, but if everyone disagrees then that's fine. I'm certainly not going to cry about it, just get used to it.

The only unfair thing in Quantum is that this is like the only server without a moderater to ban cheaters.

Quantum isnt thesame as main, we have differnt rules.
Q is short term, we reset after some time, therefor those who get fed always win, well won because its AGAINST THE RULES to get fed.
Thus its cheating.
And no is around to ban their sorry asses...

During an era some time ago people got banned for the sole reason of getting fed.
So maybe its just an unwritten rule which when broken still gets your ass kicked by Admin.
