Dubby owns a ship called Kerry County Shooters... it's an Irish SGW take on Orange County Choppers...


Peace Keeper Of ~Massey~ uses its Energy Volley to inflict 816,385,560,000 damage, destroying 7900 Energy Shields on Kerry County Shooters!

Blowing through the extended shield defenses, it also destroyed 27464 Nuclear Volley, and totally destroyed 0 fleets!
The Mothership has exhausted all of its offensive power.

Kerry County Shooters uses its Nuclear Volley to inflict 683,167,000,000 damage, destroying 7313 Energy Shields on Peace Keeper Of ~Massey~!
Blowing through the extended shield defenses, it also destroyed 32819 Energy Volley, and downed 0 fleets!

The Mothership has exhausted all of its offensive power.



So Dubby's Mothership retaliates, on defense, with full offensive power, (as I rebuilt the lost weapons, and compared the stats... which I didn't think was supposed to happen, but it happened in other cases this week.)

Also, while I did get through his shields easier, killing almost 600 less, I destroyed almost 5,400 additional weapons on his mothership... with 17% less offensive power to start with?

^^^ which is a first, for sure...

Gonna take a blind guess, his shields were either damaged or yours are bigger probably, so I would say not a bug, just a differently built MSs.

indeed no bug, shields and weapons loss are mainly determined by a certain percentage of your total number of shields and weapons.

Your enemy most likely simply had lots more weapons then shields build, thus you blow through the shields and due to the percentage-system destroy more weapons then he did on you.

Re-iterating for the 3rd time. To my knowledge, you loose a % of weapons when shields are broken though.

So, if it was say 10% weapon losses. If you had 270,000 weapons, and he had 330,000 weapons, you would loose 27k, and he would loose 33k. Even if you both have the same number of shields.

I guess...


In any event, it makes me feel slightly better about all those 3-turn Mothership massings over the years...

Goodo. In that case, it seems this was more of a mis-understanding then a bug. So gonna lock this.

If anyone thinks this is still a bug, please PM me or one of the other mods, and we can re-open this.
