I informed a course selection counselor today what I planned on doing, and I have never been so bludgeoned in my entire life.
She told me so much about American that sounded like 1970's nonsense about brainwashing, politics, etc etc. I never realized how badly I wanted to get away from there until I stopped zoning out to realize she signed me up for five new courses that gets me away from the Armed Forces.
Want to know the worst part? I have to meet her again on Friday, because apparently as I think over my decision for these five courses, I will have to come back just to tell her I want to do them or not.
