Religion using science to disprove superstition

It's funny when you think about it, religion using science and reason to disprove something then turning around and ignoring science and reason when it tries to prove them wrong.

What made me think of this was a chain letter. Reminded me of a Christian radio show that had an episode about chain letters causing bad luck. Then the recipient throws out the letter and experiences a lot of bad luck. At the end of the show, they explain that it was merely self distilled prophecy, she was expecting bad luck so she found it everywhere, even when it didn't exist.

maybe they were trying to explain in other words the Law of Attraction.

religion has derived for its pure source , now its a mess especially in the christian world, too many varieties and too many ways to keep people under control. After the discovery of over 6000 clay tablets in the ancient sumer ( the place where all begun) several stories of bible have been found leaving less credibility to the old book. soon we will know our origins and give a proper name to the creators of the modern human.
