Are you thinking of leaving?

Have you had enough yet?
How many times are you planning on being lied to a put into a false sense of security?
How much longer are you going to put your faith into someone incompetent?
Personally, this is my last stand, I've just gone 6 years playing. Another PPT for "further" issues, my bet would be on another one occuring in the next week.

It honestly doesn't work me up that much. Sure I'd like it back but I've plenty other things to do.

Did you *really* expect all issues to be resolved overnight? Naive.
Anyway. Jason is working on it. Leaving over a bad 2 (maybe 3) weeks is a typical overreaction.
Oh well.

This isn't intended as a debate session Juliette, all I know is that most business have disaster recovery plans which will usually entail a computer system to be up and running within 24 hours.
I recall a statistic when I did my computing qualification that within the networking sector that a complete loss of their computing system for more than 7 days, 25% of those businesses file for bankrupcy within the year...funny that I remembered that over the essential things that I needed to get a higher grade!
With cloud systems, cheaper and cheaper hardware...I am amazed this has happened. I work for a company employing 35 people, we're not massive...but we have our server and we have a remote server that is capable of duplicating our server incase of a massive disaster...
Things happen, I get that...the dead 3 weeks after, that should never have happened. That is all I have to say on the subject.

A fair point.

If I might have considered leaving, it's
NOT for these reasons, but because I felt a feeling of freedom with these outages, which I didn't mind as they gave me time to do some things, and apparently a little more again with this new PPT.
I *
really* don't mind these server wide PPTs to be honest!

It's a game, not a service for which i pay for. It's something less than a hobby for me. If it becomes more than such for you ( mister anon ) , then who's fault is it? Admin J has and is doing ( most ) of his job and if the game is down then do something else, when it's up again you play again. It's that simple.

Of people complaing that Jason is trying to fix the game as best and quick as he can?
Field Marshall wrote:How many times are you planning on being lied to a put into a false sense of security?
Who has lied? When did Jason lie?
Field Marshall wrote:How much longer are you going to put your faith into someone incompetent?
Incompetent? Hardly incompetent. I doubt you find anyone that is incompetent to still be running a game like this after nearly 7 years.

Then just leave!

Well the way I see it if more people really would be leaving due to server issues... That leaves me with more inactive farms

My problem is less with the actual outages and more with how they were handled ...
The silliness of ascended ppt's creating quadrillions of DMU, or the week worth of ppts in main creating trillions of naq - all create imbalance in the game, with some getting good hits and others not.
Take it down till you have it right is my preference....
