I've just returned after a somewhat lengthy absence from the game. I tried numerous times to login and got a variety of messages ranging from the "back in a few secs" to "user email does not exist".
So, I bit the bullet and created a new acct. Eventually I got in. I geniunely believed that my old account had been deleted, or had fallen into some form of inescapable chasm. But to my surprise it showed up on my Battlefield page! I discarded the new acct and tried a little harder to get into the old one.
Finally, success......
But. I seem to have a completely different CO than when I left. I'm aware that accts change hands and that explains that. But, I'm not even in the same alliance as I was last time I logged in. I don't know if either I've missed a few updates, my acct learned to play itself, or somebody hacked my acct and decided not to change the username, email or password. Can accts change alliances on their own?
I'm scared and a want a cookie.....
