I'm naming my planets after high powered or cool sounding futuristic weapons. Here's what I've got so far:

Magnetic Gatling Cannon
Ion Cannon
Atom Laser
Plasma Cannon
Quantum Buster
Magnetic Rail Gun
Antimatter Bomb
Particle Lance

Anyone have any ideas for other ones? I need 5 more

Obviously it detangles quantum bonds between subatomic particles. You can imagine the effect of that.

Ok, but what's the effect. I gathered that's what it would do, but to what end? Big explosions? Matter turned to energy? Disintegration?

Um. No. See.. water is water because of its molecular, atomic and subatomic properties. If one of the elements of water (for instance, an Oxygen atom) no longer has the properties of an Oxygen atom, the molecule does not exist. So, a quantum detangler makes e.g. 'water' become 'not-water'.
It really is not that spectacular. What is spectacular is what happens to the untangled subatomic particles, and that depends on the follow-up. Is energy added? Then they might react to each other, however that may be.

Guess you got the idea now? If, for instance, metal is turned into non-metal, you'll be unprotected in your spaceship.


(Spectacular weapon would be the next step; "Quantum Retangler". Instead of just turning things into non-things, you turn them into random things. - That's *really* *really* oversimplified.)

Forget the fancy and fanciful, the AK47, the most mass produced weapon in history, has been used to kill more people than any other weapon being in continuous use in active warzones since it's creation.
