Gag Reflex

Is it possible to not have one?
I ate too much food, and I figured I would attempt to see if I could throw it up in some crazy stunt. My two fingers made it all the way down my throat without any vomit. Just a big of choking due to air not getting through..
My eyes turned red though. Bloodshot, even.

As for Rudy. Guess who's getting warned.
I've never thrown up forcefully before, and very rarely do I ever throw up when sick. The only times I've thrown up when sick were when I was ill to the point where I couldn't move from my bed, or even really lift my body more than a few inches off the surface of my bed.
This is a mystery that needs solving.
On a lighter note, my chest hurt after failing and my stomach is hurting now. Probably due to the food though.

Quite possible, and very very dangerous. Were you dropped as a baby?
Nerve damage is one of the few possible reasons why someone wouldn't have a gag reflex.

I do not believe I was dropped as a child, however, when I was about six or seven I was found unconscious and not breathing in my house. No idea how long I was like that though.

perhaps you should attempt self-Heimlich-maneuver?
Find a soldid object with a decent edge like the back of a chair. make sure it wont move easily. Throw yourself down on it, impacting about a fist or so above the navel.
That might cause you to throw up. It certainly will hurt. A lot.

Thanks, but I'm good. I'm crazy but I'm not going to inflict serious harm on myself.

Crazy thought: Maybe you could ask someone to perform a heimlich on you, instead of potentially breaking your ribs and spine..
