The stereo-typing show that was created by two Canadians for humor since this is what most Americans thought of us at the time. It spread into the United States, as well..I believe.

I've met quite a few people from Quebec, and all of them have told me that they hate living in Quebec.
A pet shop owner had a bird who could sing the Canadian National Anthem in English, and he got fined because the bird couldn't sing it in French.
Quebec wants to break off from Canada, to join the Europian Union.
The French do not consider people from Quebec French at all, let alone that people from Quebec do not speak French but more of all the cultures of French combined into Quebec.
Eg: All the French colonies merging into one, and you have how Quebec people speak.
