Edit to my original post, along with "Rave", I would add to my dislike list, whatever the music genre is used for shuffle dance videos in youtube.

What I dislike in metal genres is clear. It's generally not the guitars & bass. It's not the "normal" singing because some of the groups can sing properly. What I *REALLY* dislike in metal genres, is when they scream like if they were turning into some sort of monsters who were about to puke during the transformation while screaming. That's usually what ruins completely these songs for me, which I would likely appreciate more or less if the screaming was dropped out. Songs with mainly screaming, of course, I wouldn't like them.

I don't know what Genre it was, but I went to a pub a few weeks ago and this bloke that looked like a chick (Hippy) was strumming randomly and singing literally missing every note. It was torture to my ears, meanwhile several people around me were saying how beautiful it was. WERE THEY LISTENING THROUGH THEIR BUTT HOLES?!?

Stupidly dissonant heavy metal. I do like heavy metal if it actually sounds GOOD... but purposely making it sound like a bag of dying cats doesn't do it for me.
