Under the current system, if the moderator who is handling your 'situation' believes your posts are stimulating the thread going off-topic, he will intervene.
You said it yourself; your posts are loosely based on the topic of the thread. Do I need to bring up the "for want of a nail"-verse to illustrate how, in theory, letting one post go off-topic could doom the thread to a spamfest? ;) Theory. And I am not sure I would support it if this had not been how the rules and modding evolved over the forum's history.

If you want to reply to a post in a thread concerning a different topic, post a new thread. Or just PM. Most posts around here are one person responding to one person, instead of responding to the thread itself.

the thread n question, is not specific , it brings down "the big wipe the small" and in all that kind of threads they always had that kind of discussions.

Your posts were a few of many I removed at the time. As part of that, I gave a board warning to 2 out of about 8 users, with the remaining receiving verbal warnings, as there were two mods who posted in the topic telling users to refrain from spamming. I also didn't wish to have a call of bias which would have most likely have been called had I left some posts in the topic.

Your posts were not on topic, in fact such a complaint about money spending is a quick way to get a topic into the deep realms of spam. If you wish to talk about spending vs power, make a topic in general, don't start talking in a war thread about it.

If you wanted to honestly make a formal complaint you would have gone through the proper channels, which you clearly know what they are, yet you chose to do it this way.

It was me that reported all the off topic posts in that thread which resulted in 2 warnings and 6 verbals after 2 earlier in-thread warnings.

No matter how you sugar coat it your posts were completely off topic. Your first off topic post was in direct response to Andy who was making a comment about Lithium which had nothing directly to do with the thread.

But if you insist on this being the correct form of making a formal complaint then I wish you the best in your quest for justice.

If I may... what's wrong with talking about how players in a war are spending money to get resources to use in said war?

Seems like a related conversation to me.

Anyone can answer, please.

History shows such "discussions" are never discussions, but show that whether intended to be or not culminate in flame fest of the worst kind. My advice would be to make a anti $$ spenders section and keep it all dumped there.

I was not bashing this thread so please do not try and paint a picture that does not exist.

Seeing as you said lets break this down, which you hardly did, lets focus on the second post.

It was a personal response to Vix, yes?
It was about. Your friendship or lack of, yes?
You then said you were talking about how much you hate people that spend money, yes?

Please explain how that post is relevant to NWO.
I'd like to point out in that one you weren't talking about NWO but about yur personal connection with Vix.

Please further explain why you just didn't PM that to Vix.
The reason I ask that is because the only reason I see a personal post like that being posted in public is an attempt to flame money spenders which plagues this forum way too much.

I am sorry if you feel that I am bashing your "well thought out thread", but to me it just looks like you claim I am because of your dislike of me.

Is this complaint still being made? I thought I'd ask this as it has been a while since the last response and I'm unsure whether Tetrismonkey may have dropped his complaint, or whether he had just forgotten to reply?

I am going to post as a Moderator for once, and just chuckle to myself. I support the staff 100% in matters, but as a user I can understand the frustration they can have at certain points.

The rules, or opinions of the rules by Moderators changes on a daily basis. If a moderator has a bad day, he is more likely to dish out warnings than on a good day. Same goes for if somebody dislikes somebody, etc.

There is no consistency, nor can there be with people who do not act like robots. Some Moderators enforce the rules to the letter of the law, like Nimras did back in the day. Some would rather give multiple verbal warnings before being forced into actually warning somebody, like myself.

Either way, it will never change. Just go with the flow.

It's not as bad as Noobert paints it. He is right, though. Mods have different modding styles, which I think is a good thing.
