~Phoenix~ out for good! (probably)

Well I didn't make a quitting thread last time.. seemed no point I've never really been a glory seeker. Lately I just haven't had the drive to hit back anyone that hits me so I think that indicates it's time to be off... Never made it to rank1 unfortunately so I'll have to be happy with 2 
Had fun returning to this game but unfortunately I didn't come back to the same atmosphere that I left in 07.
Nowdays people just build defences for their enemy and pat them on the back for doing a good job knocking them down. Kinda puffy if you ask me. I wanna destroy months of someones work then go have a huge argument with them it was great when emotions were flying everywhere. Also further ruined by arrogant arrogant people spending so much money on the game that it takes all the competition out of it for players that can actually play well. The resources between everyone else are so equal that even players rubbish at the game can spend a few $$ mass a few people and get into the "most deadly" alliances.
I did have fun though and will keep my MSN contacts this time around. If admin decides he wants this game to keep going then I am sure I may look at coming back.. but currently whether you want to accept it or not it's quite obvious he is content with it slowing down and ending. I don't think it will pick back up.
Overall I would like to say thankyou very much to my friends, to my alliance mates in the old Ascended Generations and HVE for making the game all it really is - a friendly community.
I will also thank past alliances of OoC, unnatural selection, the order, unseen thread and dirty dozen for making the game enjoyable enough for me to give it another run.
If anyone wants a chat at anytime I'll be on msn ^.^

I'm not in the habbit of mentioning names.. too often I see players I'e never heard of naming lots of big guys as their friends only to not see the thoughts returned.
