The three different classes

For instance: "factories" class, middle class, upper class.

I have seen some of you talk about the legitimacy (or lack of) of this or that class, especially regarding the democracy/representativeness/government issues.
What do you consider these to be? Because I am not so sure that what I consider each of the three to be, are not necessarily the ones which are invoked in this or that argument in the recent threads.

I mean, some people still view Marxism view of society as accurate, while others prefer the neoclassic view (more or less three classes but with different levels in each). I adhere to the latter rather than to the first. However, I don't consider wealth to be the only core of how to consider someone, but more the whole background (culture, values, family..).
