I was depositing money in the bank, and apparently something is broken, since it says that the amount deposited was the amount taken (the 2% transaction cost).
For example I got this: "Deposit successful. You deposited 42,038,902,686, which took 42,038,902,686 to do."
Instead of the 2% of the deposited amount (840,778,054), you get the amount deposited.
This is merely a graphical bug, since it seems that all the money I deposited WAS deposited.

Yes, the bank deposit fee displays on all unascended accounts,
even Goa'uld, who do not pay the fee...
because we love money so much that we weaselled our way out of said fee.

Hence why our name sounds like gold.

Listen, people who are asceneded. They dont pay the 2%. Only the unascended, so since you have ascended, you keep all the naq you bank. As opposed to when you were unascended.

So, Ascended means no 2%

Unascended means you pay 2%.

haven't taken much notice ..mainly because I know once you ascend you don't pay fees..

help guide and rules need changing though, they refer to a 5% fee

Vault or Bank This is a 'secret stash' of Naquadah, that cannot be taken on attacks. Clicking the link takes you to your bank, where you can deposit or withdraw Naquadah. Unless your race avoids it, there is a 5% fee for deposits

it says that. It was changed to 2% a good while back.

If you take a second and read what he actually said instead of trying to be smart then you'd see that it doesn't matter whether he is ascended or not.

Maybe you should listen, in fact read.

We know ascended accounts pay 0% fee when depositing and unascended pay 2% fee when depositing.

Now, if the coding was correct behind the scenes this is what you would see in both circumstances:

Unascended - Deposit successful. You deposited 42,038,902,686, which took 840,778,053 to do.

Ascended - Deposit successful. You deposited 42,038,902,686, which took 0 to do.

But instead he gets this: Deposit successful. You deposited 42,038,902,686, which took 42,038,902,686 to do. Which is basically telling him it took 100% fee to deposit the funds instead of 0%. This doesn't affect the mechanics of the game because the correct funds are actually deposited and/or removed as a fee. But the text being displayed is inaccurate. Not a big bug but still a bug.

I just banked that much naq in my bank.....it has always said this. So therefore, this is nob big bug or small bug....this is not a bug at all.


I dont know how the hell you think it takes 0 naq to bank naq.

Firstly just to point out if you take any notice of threads you post in you'd see that he is ascended anyway from his sig.

Regardless of whether something has always been that way or not shouldn't change the fact it is incorrect and a bug. If the fee is 0% then it should say that it took 0 naq to do, not the full amount. As I said it's not a big bug but it is a bug because the coding is incorrect as it displays the incorrect value.

It takes 0 naq to bank naq when ascended because there is 0% fee! When it says it takes a certain amount to bank something it is referring to the FEE!

It is not a bug.

Go to your bank and tell them you want to deposit 500,000 pounds with 0 pounds.....they will laugh at you. Just like here, you need naq to bank naq. It is saying you deposited such amount which took the same amount to deposit.

If you think it is a bug, will tell let admin know how about it......then we will find out that im right.

If I was to send you $1000 through paypal it will take a fee. If that fee for example is 1% then for me to send you $1000 through paypal then it would take $10 to do it. Because that is the fee! Read what the wording is actually saying!

This game is not paypal....so fail.

This is not a bug. You need naq, in order to deposit naq. It has always said this for many years.
