I'm stopping where I am with recon units now though. Waste of money.

Oh just wondering since I have 1/7th of your covert units and a little more than half your covert power.

Normally you might be right, but seeing as how you can't untrain this era...

Those 150k spies will never be able to produce anything, so your losing income by training them.

Thus if you did train them to miners you could make more NAQ, and buy more covert levels and covert techs, and still have the same power with 1/5th of the spies.

Better to make NAQ and spend it.

Then to train spies, and lose NAQ you could have made with it, and fall behind because you can't afford to buy UP, covert levels, and techs at the same time because you have 150k spies instead of 150k miners.

There's a good reason for having a reasonably high covert at this stage - to keep an eye on other accounts and their progress, but all in all, you are correct otherwise.

Down to 3rd with covert rank now anyway and as I said, I have no intention of keeping up with the Jones's from this point on, as the extra rank in covert is going to costs billions of naq/hundreds of thousands of units, which as you alluded to is wasted.

Well you don't even need half of the covert power to get a full spy of the person without ???.

Hell with 10m covert power you can spy a guy with 40m covert power fully.

Besides all you really need to be able to see is army size.

All I was saying is, training loads into anything but miners right now, will only set you further behind.

The ones with the high covert are usually the ones not investing into UP, and are doing the same thing as you, training as much covert units as possible.

For a non cash spender I'm not doing so badly.

Besides, Malbrega doesn't seem to be lacking behind so much.

Sorry, but I have 16k spies and there is only 4 people that I cant fully spy... and only 1 of those I can't see their army.
