Perg and planets

Just have a thought and some questions... here I go

I was thinking about going to perg with 10 x 200 bil income planets with a 10 tril def and 10 tril cov and no miners or lifers. Since income planets dont follow the 50% rule I would have a turn income of around 41 bil a turn and 2 tril a day. I would have 1.5 tril def on each planet as well.
Here are some questions:
1. Is the 10 tril def enough? eg. what is the highest strike in perg? (If there wasn't a strike bigger than my def I would never loose naq)
2. Is 1.5 tril enough def on planets? Only 60 attack turns on one person per day, meaning that the income planets should be untouchable????? Largest fleets are 1.1 tril (I think) they couldn't steal these planets with 4 x 15 attacks per day. Although how much def would I loose on the planet if a 1.1 tril fleet hit me 4 times a day.
3. Is my cov enough? Should I lower def and raise cov?
Also what do people think of this idea? Is it do able, think of untouchable income planets and a def that can hold all the naq, you could also just keep increasing the income size of the planets with all the naq you keep.

Seems like an alright idea, as long as you got bank. If im honest i got no idea of a top strike in perg, but i think the best way to hide is to have a low rank and a high defence and covert, and the best of times no strike to save rank...
just my idea

several players could team up (as maelstorm used to) to bring down your defense / planetary defenses as each of them can attack you with 60 turns per day.

Hmmmm good point, are there any perg alliances going round?
Also with planet def if I make them big enough even with a team attack most people dont have large enough fleets to do any real damage.

Heya guys I was just wandering if I could get more opinions on this..... Also those 3 questions could I have a bit more views on them? Is there anything anyone would do a little different with this scenario?
Also bank space shouldn't be a problem as you can save up to your next cov lvl regardless of miners and lifers.

for perg a defence of around 6-7 trill is big enough i found so no one can touch you unless they team together, best having no lifers at all so you can maximise the units available to train, for saving naq, put it in planet defences, there arent many actives in perg anymore most dont seem to log on. there are a couple of big accounts but if you stay away from them they dont bother you

Thanks Ganju, what about for my question on fleets attacking your planets. I know that with 1.5 tril def on them they are untouchable within 60 attack turns per day, but how many def would I loose if say the top fleet (1.1 tril) hit me 4 times a day, would I be able to rebuild the planet def or would they destroy too much?

dont think there are many large ms down there off the top of my head, when Wasm played he had awesome planets and it took ages and a massive ms to take them off him and to be honest there is hardly any actives down there, I was down for a few months and farmed and raided and only got about 2 hits back in the whole time

That is good to hear but I was thinking that if my income planets one day reached something like 400 bil income then someone could come from main and take them?
I am just thinking worst case scenario

suppose your right but dont think anyone with a decent account would waste time in perg these days, the last player who went down i think was rudy pena, i think anyways and he wrecked a whole alliance with his one account

Yeah, I went in perg to teach them a lesson. In the end, it was a waking call for them. Many left the alliance and some came into main after surrendering to me.

Do you think this is a good idea?
Also other people please feel free to leave your opinions

Ok thanks Rudy but if I just kept to myself and had a low rank 1000+ I should be ok against this sort of stuff?????

yeah you will be.
I only went in perg to mass them and sabb them cause Destruction was random massings and extorting and bulling small players.
