Suspected Multi

First the story of my life.

I have a small, insignificant account.
I went into a long "vacation" a while ago.
I logged in recently.
A random person I've never "talked" to sends me 44,000,000 untrained units. (Send, not broker)
Within the same minute, another person sets their relationship with me to "war", and starts raiding me.

It sounds to me as if the first person wanted to "send" untrained units to his main account - but that is prevented by the game rules. (Can't send/broker resources to another person who logged in from your IP)
So here I am, making a formal report.

75836
~KiLLA - the "raider"
Ryuujin Jakka
[ SonS of Anarchy - Ryuu]
Disciples of Horus (Flight)
Living God of the AJNA
{Temporarily on the Protected Planets Treaty...}

1965784 - the "sender"
Chillay Dog
Living God of the INDU

Now posting action records.
~KiLLA Bentusi Trader ~KiLLA(75836) has set their relation with you to: War Dec 16, 07:24 reply delete save
Bentusi Trader Bentusi Trader Chillay Dog has sent you 44,700,000 untrained units. Dec 16, 07:24 reply delete save

In the same minute, the raiding begun.

Note that previously I had not encountered either ~KiLLA nor Chillay Dog.
Also note that my attack log only has 5 pages, and the only person who attacked me was ~KiLLA.
Also also note that I lost all of my defense weapons, 75% of my defense units, and my mothership is scrap metal because of the little attempt at cheating of this bugger.

Looking forward to hearing second opinions. Also looking forward for drastic measures to be taken on the multi-guy. Off with his head!

was probably more a case of Killa buying uu but can only raid them of someone to get them.

If both in same house, the seller may have sent to what they thought was an inactive acc to be raided from.

i no ryu (~KiLLA ) and he is not a multi what he most likely did was buy the UU from this person (Chillay Dog) but he was probaly over the trade cap so couldn't buy direct.
and most people who want to buy UU after they are above the trade cap get some 1 to send the UU to an inactive account so that they can raid it.

If you say so. Although 44,700,000 is a bit much to pay for anything.
1000 turns are 1 billion naq or 900,000 UU - when those who buy the turns are extremely generous.
So, unless Chillay Dog had at least 44,000 turns (which is over the cap, by far), I'm sticking with my conclusion.

Each week I buy a couple hundred million uu and the only way I can generally get it (as I'm usually over the buy cap) is to raid it off inactive accounts...this one poor guy I've raided a billion uu off his account alone...

Current forum rates for uu are about 600 bil naq per 1 mil uu...so for 44.7 mil uu, you get 26.82 tril naq. It's just what happens. Now that you're active again, odds are people won't be raiding off of you :P

44,000 ATs is by far uncommon. The general ATs has a cap of 10k unless you are buying from black market. The personal ATs have NO cap. And you have no indication as to whether Chillay Dog used his free xmas gift to get 80,000 ATs.

Therefore I can't see how you can stand by your original conclusion.

However, ~KILLA was reported the other day for something else.

1. I was never "inactive". Going on vacation removes you from the rankings.
2. I didn't think of naq -> uu trade.
3. Clarkey didn't understand me.
4. Ace, you should bang your head harder against that wall. "Chillay dog sent me 40,000,000 units, and in the same minute Killa started raiding me". Yes, I trained the 0 units that were left. They were such a gift.

By the way, what's the point of implementing a cap on trading, if that cap can be bypassed? Just to make life harder for other, random players?

I do understand you. This situation is no different from anyone else that trades for UU over the trading cap.

And why would someone selling 44k ATs be odd?

we are not saying he is or isn't a multi but there is also a legit reason for what you experienced.

Its a side step to the cap rule many big accounts have used, I guess the trade off is it costs them resources to buy the UU and ATs to collect them..

Shame you weren't able to train them all :D

Wasn't online at the time.

The question I asked still remains, what's the point of the cap if it can be such easily bypassed?

That question does not belong here. You can ask it in the FAQ section, but it has no relevance to this thread as it is not cheating.

Bypassing a rule is not cheating.
It's like saying that if a man turns his back to you, it's okay to take his wallet from his pocket.
Close the thread, move it, do whatever.

its the same as brokering away so you keep all your stuff when you ascend you are ment to lose everything and become weak again but that never happens of course
