What do people think of the idea? Getting something from a person when you descend them?
Doesn't have to be a straight up resource.

The kill count is only displayed to the individual doing the proverbial dirty right? How about displaying it publicly, next to their name on the rank list for example? If you could incorporate that in a tidy way without cluttering the ranking list then it could work. The reward being the prestige and notoriety of the number of kills, freely displayed to all. Just a thought.

How about getting ascended PPT or his ascended points.

Or even ascended Glory and Reputation. Not sure what it would be good for though. I don't envisage another server being made

you already get something from them though

1. The thrill of decending them, which takes them out of the game on ascended for 2 weeks.
2. The weakening of their main acc.

I don't see the need to Glorify your accomplishment further..

though a tally/record keeping of ppl decended by you on your acc somewhere would be good

Something of the sort is already in production, tied within it at least.

You know what makes you so awesome Sol, without sounding like a 'sucker-upper', you actually listen to people. The people that make this game what it is, the community. So thank you for that.

I agree, there is no need..if a reward is implemented its fine I guess as long as it does not come off the descendee account....i.e. planets.

Descending is not like destroying anyways, its more like being kicked down a notch.

If there was a reward it would have to change based on the acc you descend, for example a descention that takes 3 hits shouldnt reward the same as one that takes 3 days or 3 weeks

just the kill is enough. maybe a name title next to the nickname.
1-10 kills u get x-title
10-30- y-title
30-50 - z title
and so one

I could do some sort of announcement banner thing somewhere that shows the last person descended and by whom.

well I have 70 kills I would be happy with s uber cool title as planet taking hmm not good maybe some DMU?

The only problem is people descend low level inactive accounts. Accounts that can be descended in 3 hits and under so someones kill count can go up 3 or 4 points a day. What fun is there in competing with others when you have someone that does that vs someone who descends people with actual "worth mentioning" levels that can take a day onwards to descend.

all you will do by rewarding ppl for decending someone is get nuts decending worthless ascended accounts just for the "numbers" .. leaving not many farms for those trying to grow etc..

if I wanted to I could go and decend 3 to 4 ppl a day, but what is the point? My tally would build up pretty quick but it would be worthless and petty in the scheme of things... much different if you are taking down an opponent in war for example.

I haven't decended anyone in a long time because there has been no need to..

Decention with purpose is much sweeter and reward enough in itself
