Is there a way to bank DMU in the ascended server, like there is in the main game? I am new to the ascended server and would can't see any bank. I try to use up my DMU each turn so that I dont have it sitting out there tempting someone to attack, but it is tough when you get to low amounts. The only thing I can see to do is to buy the small cheap weapons, but I will lose DMU if I turn around and sell them.

I saw that you can convert DMU to Life Force but the minimum is 10,000,000 DMU.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Spend it on fleets or convert it to life force cache. All your levels whether its personal levels or military levels it requires cache... and a lot of it. Most of your dmu throughout your game play will involve converting it to cache.

So I assume by your answer that there is nothing like a bank in the ascended server? I would like to convert it to LF Cache but it is a 10,000,000 minimum. So then is the only answer to do with the left over 20,000 DMU (or so) is to buy fleets?

Trust me, there is no reason to bank 20,000 DMU.

Taliesin- You can buy surplus def weapons, they don't get touched if you are attacked and its the best thing I've found so far to keep excess DMU I might want to spend later.

I just used the 20,000 as a rough number for an example. I guess I am more used to playing the mian game where the Naq can build up and if it builds up too much you get attacked. But thanks for the advice.

Too much is like 400 tril or more in ascended but it differs from person to person on what is worth attacking for.

indeed i doubt ANYONE would attack for less than 130 trill (and thats next to nothing realy)

For me, as long as it's ~11x the cost for repairs, I'd consider it...
But I haven't attacked a single soul since the last time I descended somebody
