I just found this image in one of my old folders and thought it might be interesting to show some newer people some screen shot of what old-school SGW's rank 1 was at back at the beginning.

This was so far back in the day when Stargate was such a popular TV franchise that people came from far and wide just to play the game because of the association, with most actually having no strategic clue about this sort of text based game.
Just take a look at the Quantum records for example. You'll note a drastic increase in stat levels compared with the opening couple of eras. When people actually started realising how to play the game. ETL of course, was one step ahead.
Oh and THE SAZ. Met her. She is one sexy lady.

The association was already doomed for blatant infringement of copyright. Sooner or later MGM were going to catch up. It's a rather dishonest thing to do to make ample cash off of the back of someone elses idea. If anything, the game was done a favour.

I only wish I had more of these screen shots

I like looking back to mid-late 2005. Early 2005 was crap, but mid-late was awesome game-wise in my opinion.
I can't come back to this game. I work full time and I would just get sucked back into old habits that weren't very healthy...
I do miss it though...when I really admit it to myself.

I miss it too Nuto, it was really fun back in the day... I dont play it anymore just quantum, but it was fun playing when the game was getting bigger and bigger and more popular every day.
