Cheers Jason. Doubtful any exist to be honest as Q has a habit of changing each era. If I could remember how to use Excel properly from all that mind numbing training I received back in an old job a few years ago I would at least be able to figure out what I want to know (which is the cost of the techs). Oh well. I'll just keep throwing my naq around and hope that it's the most efficient route for the time being. ;)

For tech costs you need to factor in top techs compared to yours and then work the cost to get to the top. Then counter in the jump in price from there followed by the constant quadractic increase of being top :P. Just jam 9999 into it and see what it tells you rather

Top techs compared to mine? Quadratic increases? I'm confused :smt022

This is an example of the attack techs (as they stand for me).

Weapons SuperCharger (increases all unit attack weapons power) 5,000

Cost to interface a new power cell is - 250,150,000

Ok, so I buy just 1.

Cost to interface another is now 250,200,000

Let's buy just 1 more to see if the pattern is consistent.

250,250,000

Ok, so we know that the increase is by 50,000 each time. How the hell do I make Excel deal with this information ;)?

x = (x-1) + 50000
so for example B1 = 50000
then use the formula to get B2
B2 = B1 + 50000
B2 = 50000 + 50000
B2 = 100000

I think in excel you have to put a "=" in first to show its a formula so it would be =B1+50000 stick that into the space B2 then drag it down and it should auto fill the rest.
Then the column A can be how many you've bought.

Also I should point out that sometimes games like this have a price increase after a certain amount reached, it might go up to 100000 a cell :-k

Hmm, a price increase would screw up the formula for certain. Not only that, it's going to be incredibly difficult to determine if and where these spikes appear.

The only thing you'd might want an excel calc for is UP,
For techs its simple, if you have 5000, and want to see howmuch 1000 more cost, just bank all your naq, and type in 1000, it will now say (for me)ontop of your screen:

Technology Center
Not enough resources (781,791,660,000) to upgrade!

With UP it will just say
Training
NO RESOURCES LEFT!!!

S1eepy always had some calcs, but since it differs each era and he hasn't played for a while I doubt he will bother...

Ahaha, that's actually quite clever Scenester! ;) Just goes to show, the simplest solutions are often the most overlooked.
