Nope, political meeting, but people attending brought regional food, and regional wine. Which I tested, and enjoyed.

I'm not much of a wine drinker, though I am a bit partial to a glass of Cabernet Merlot.

White Wine get me drunk way to fast, faster than shots somehow even though far less alcohol content so I avoid it.
Red Wine makes me sick and gives me hangovers so I avoid it
Bear is good, not nasty chemical tang lagers, proper bitter, Boddingtons, Worthingtons etc
Tequila is lovely... Mmmmmmm tequila

Steak and red wine.
Medium rare, perhaps beef.
As for the wine, something sweetish, nothing dry.
This i want to eat with Semper while we discuss all the magnificent things, when we meet.
My treat, of course!
