How long have you had your avatar? Im trying to figure out who has had their avatar for the longest time, just a random thought and I know Ive had mine since March 2005 and it hasnt changed since then. Thinking about retiring it.

Haha, there is a LOT of history behind this avatar. However with the changes in the game, my super lag behind the top accounts I think it is time to retire not only the avvy but possibly the JediMasterX name itself while there is an inkling of good history to it. Kind of why if you look ingame I'm playing under a different name currently.

Your avy is older than your account?

Had mine quite a while. Tried changing names...tried reinventing myself a few times, but always come back to this....something comfortable about it.

With regards to avatars - How many people actually associate the person's nick with the character in the avatar rather than the actual character's name? ie: I always used to get Apophis mixed up with Esker. lol

Had mine for nearly 2 years. When i joined TL.

I wouldnt really worry about legacy. Keeping your name with a smaller account wont change that.

@JMX I'm pretty certain you've not been here to have it that long JMX. However even if you adopted it from the moment you signed up a forum account it must still be once of the longest used ones.

I've had mine since december 2006, it's changed twice slightly but it's essence has remained. I think Buck has had his the longest to my knowledge.. as long as I can remember.

None of the accounts we have (normal, non-ACP) access to have had it nearly that long. Oldest one is from around may '06. Current avatar on this account isn't even a year (we think), our other accounts have either no avatars, or are young. One of our multi account avatars was created this autumn, took a while to animate.
Any idea how bothersome it is to make a 630-image animation? It took well over 24 hours to render, and that was with a small image size and fairly poor output quality...

I had the same avatar from when I started up again to about 2-3 weeks ago. Recently changed mine to the current one, thanks to some great work by phalax

And I think most of us, after a while, look at either the avatar or the sig to recognize a poster, not the actual name.

I take that back, confused the timeline of this avatar. It was created in March 25 for a forum called giveupalready.com. When I joined this forum back in Jan 2006 I just decided to use that one. Good call.

May 2005 (including Christmas, when jack gets a Santa hat on....!)

Obviously, Admin has had his longest... Discounting that, if psi kiya trist is still here with that wired fairy avatar then him, Nuto Vixen had the censored one for awhile , I know she visits here but don't think she's at all regular. That would leave it between myself and anyone left from summer 05... Wolf359 maybe.... Is he still here?

I've had the punisher skull since i signed up i think, then semper revamped it for me when i was helping run nempire.

My game account is older than my forum account i think.

It would have to be the avatar of one of the elders, yes.

Its too bad goo changed his sometime in '09. the former one was both old and excellent.
